Some pics of a little street festival in Val D’Isere yesterday (note guy carving ice with a chainsaw). The snow for skiing was the best yesterday and I had a keef time. Didn’t even ski today, I got my ski itch scratched most suitably the past few days.

Today I walked around. This whole ski trip has been like playing old PC game ‘Oblivion’, but, its real life. I walked from one town to another.

I was able to catch various ski lifts and ski into various towns. Was epic. Then, catch a free shuttle if necessary. It doesn’t help that the RED (very difficult) and GREEN (very easy) runs that are marked on the map look almost exactly the same to my red/green colourblind eyes. I spent many minutes looking at the print-dots to try figure out if a run is red or green.
