I lost a big project

For hours and hours, days, weeks and months I’ve been working on a personal animated short. It was coming along well and I was almost done with it and had it lined up to be exhibited at a really rad gallery in the States. I wanted to back it up to a flash drive for security. To make space on the drive I removed the old backup. Turns out I trashed the original files from my HD instead, thus losing all my work.

Only thing that remains is this very early work in progress video. Man. Bummer. I’m not quite sure how to react. Supposed I should get used to dealing with loss though, all of this stuff eventually goes. Its almost laughable.
